Bio
Yvonne Puffer lives and works in New York. Puffer’s work- drawings, woodblock reliefs and wall drawings- presents us with images of disquieting familiarity: domestic interiors, children playing, landscapes. The images are perceived distantly, sequestered from the viewer’s apprehension and each other. The isolated characters evoke memories of loss, but perhaps what they evoke most strongly is memory itself.
